Nicholas Dunkas and Associates is a small medical corporation providing mental health care to residents of Evanston and Chicago. Our providers include two psychiatrists, a Ph.D. psychologist, and a master counselor. We are a transcultural organization, coming from a diverse background to treat a transcultural population.
Different people and problems require a variety of treatment modalities. While many benefit from a combination of medications and psychotherapy, treatment is always individualized. After an initial assessment, we will work with you to come up with a plan to improve your health and quality of life. The first step is for you to schedule an appointment. We accept most insurance policies.
Dr. Reed returned to school to study medicine at the John A. Burns School of medicine at the University of Hawaii after having worked for many years in Christian ministry both as a missionary in the South Pacific and as an associate pastor here in Hawaii. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with high honors in only three years and then completed his medical degree in 2008 at which time he was accepted into one of the oldest Family Medicine residency programs in the country at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in San Bernardino California which is affiliated with Western University and with the University of California Irvine. Having received high quality and thorough training in all aspects of Family Medicine .
